Jakeel Consulting Inc., a business solution provider creating business and information technology solutions for public, non-profit and commercial industries is proud to announce the acquisition of Ricky T. Valentine as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Valentine is responsible for strategic planning and day-to-day operations of Jakeel’s capability to provide business solution for finance, human resourcing and information technology challenges. He directs and manages Jakeel’s team of consultants servicing companies to understand their business needs and help them shape the desired solution. He will lead Jakeel in promoting new industry solutions and configurations at knowledge sharing events and user conferences. He will work with organizations business executives and IT managers to understand priorities and challenges and will help formulate appropriate business solutions.

Mr. Valentine is a retired United States Air Force Colonel with over 26 years of experience. His experience span across a spectrum of disciplines to include; strategic planning and resourcing, financial management, acquisition management, education and training and human resources. He is a former Chief Financial Officer for three separate organizations with increasing levels of responsibility. He has planned, directed, managed, and executed all phases of business operations. His experience is supplemented with extensive knowledge and certification in the acquisition of computer, electronics, space, missiles and communication systems as well as certification in defense financial management and joint operations. Mr. Valentine holds several degrees to include: a Master Degree in National Resource Strategy from Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University Ft McNair, DC; a Master in Business Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University.
